From Matteo....

On the way to France we stopped in Los Angeles, in Venice beach where skateboarding was invented.  I even saw a skateboarding dog called Tilman.

In France, I eat good bread, good cheese, good sausages and ham. I learnt how to wakeboard and got better at skateboarding. I tried to surf, but there are hardly any waves.  Only two days with proper waves.

Sometimes I go fishing off the boat, but only catch little fish. I also spend time with my cousins called Marie and Pauline. The water is between 22 and 28 degrees, good for swimming.

Red Socks...

Today Westpac gave us some Sir Peter Blake Trust Red Socks.  It is twenty years since New Zealand won the first America's Cup.
How did the Red Socks become a craze in New Zealand?

Camera Shots & Angles...

Today B3 went on the computers to the Digistore to do an activity.
We learnt that you can do all different camera shots.  A long shot is when when you are far away, instead of standing close up.  Lily and I finished first because we worked hard and quickly.
After this we went outside and did photos to show the different camera shots and angles.  In PicCollage we put our best photos from the camera roll.  Then we needed to write what the shots were and we emailed them to Ms K.
What other camera shots can you think of or find?

Making our Artworks for Matariki....

We read a story called Celebrating Matariki.  Tania then told us we had to do a draft picture about Matariki.  Then we used black creative paint to go around the pencil marks.  We had to let it dry.

The next day we dyed inside the creative paint.  My picture is about the person trying to get the fish out of the sea and then they turn into the seven bright stars.
