Behind the Scenes: Robo News

I learnt how to dry brush.  The hardest part of Robo News was making the robots because we had to hot glue bits of TV remotes onto it.
The best part was puppeteering the robots.  The Robo News sign was made out of cardboard.  We cut out the letters then we glue gunned the outside.  Then we dry brushed with bronze, gold and silver paint.  I made the green screening come alive by animating it on I movie.
We filmed the drummer on the green screen, so we could replace this with the Robo News.  This would tell you that the lady was wanted for stealing jewellery.  Matteo

I did the star backdrop and I painted and glue gunned the Robo News backdrop.  I helped to paint the Robo news sign.  Drayden

Camera Shots & Angles...

Today B3 went on the computers to the Digistore to do an activity.
We learnt that you can do all different camera shots.  A long shot is when when you are far away, instead of standing close up.  Lily and I finished first because we worked hard and quickly.
After this we went outside and did photos to show the different camera shots and angles.  In PicCollage we put our best photos from the camera roll.  Then we needed to write what the shots were and we emailed them to Ms K.
What other camera shots can you think of or find?

Making our Artworks for Matariki....

We read a story called Celebrating Matariki.  Tania then told us we had to do a draft picture about Matariki.  Then we used black creative paint to go around the pencil marks.  We had to let it dry.

The next day we dyed inside the creative paint.  My picture is about the person trying to get the fish out of the sea and then they turn into the seven bright stars.
